Claim Services
Sunflower Insurance Group has a dedicated Claims Department that
delivers professional claim service to our customers. Our staff will ensure that
the insurance company handles our client's claims in an efficient
and timely manner. By quickly and accurately responding to the
needs of our customers, we help minimize the costs and annoyances
associated with commercial insurance claims.
For our personal lines policy holders, we provide options.
Our clients can choose to either file their claim through our office
or file it directly through the insurance company. Allied/Nationwide
customers have direct access to their policy and claims

Risk Management Services
Sunflower Insurance Group, Inc. has
a risk management consultant on staff. This position allows
Sunflower Insurance Group to provide loss control services and
programs to their commercial customers.
Since 1980, Bruce Ford has provided
risk management consulting services to clients in the manufacturing,
healthcare, construction, public entity, and entertainment
industries. These services include, but are not limited to,
workplace safety analysis, ergonomic studies, OSHA compliance
reviews, supervisory/employee safety training, and safety program
development and implementation.
Bruce is a member of the American
Society of Safety Engineers, the Safety & Health Council of Eastern
Kansas and Western Missouri, the Institution of Occupational Safety
& Health, and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. He has
authored a technical paper entitled “Protecting Your Employees,”
published in The Small Business Monthly.
Bruce holds a bachelor’s degree in
Industrial Safety and a master’s degree in Administration of Public
Services from Central Missouri State University. He is also board
certified in Hazard Control Management and Healthcare Safety.
